Ragged Rose: Blossoming Colorful Luxury in Home Decor | London Accessory Week

Tell us a little about your brand. Who are you, what products do you offer?

I created my brand in 2010 and named it after myself as I am constantly running "Ragged” and my surname is Rose - I just love Roses especially pink!

My first print is the Ragged Rose which I created in 2010. This was developed into kitchen textiles including our retro frilly apron and oven gloves. Table linen, cushions and seat pads followed. I then introduced Jewel-coloured plain velvets in throws and cushions which is now an enormous range. Christmas was launched in 2013 and has since evolved into another massive category. Finally, we introduced chairs in 2018.

What are your sources of inspiration?

I am passionate about my garden and love vibrant clashing flowers. Colours such as Purple and orange, lime green and pink are my inspiration. I also love Designers Guild and her floral patterns.

How would you describe your design/product concept?

I love vibrant colours and wanted to have my own floral print designs that were affordable for the Home.

Do have a signature or star product? Tell us about it!

Who is the target audience for your products?

Anyone who loves colour in their home and life. From young girls who just love our velvet beauty wash bags to the busy school mum who wants a bit of luxury in her sanctuary bedroom. Or the glamourous Grandma pottering in her garden with our garden kneeler and trug bag.

What are your tips for customers who are interested in your products?

Don't be afraid to mix and match colours. We offer free swatches so you can test colours against your decor.

How do you feel about participating in the Christmas Market? Anything else you want to share?

We do Christmas in a big way at Ragged Rose. So participating in a Christmas market is perfect for us. Our Christmas Table linen is more Scandi inspired with Nordic reindeer in traditional red or glittery silver and gold which are always popular.
