Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your brand?
I am Alpha Clemons from Detroit Michigan, USA. I am a mother of three, I have over 25 years of experience in cosmetology, and I am the Owner/creator of “A&O Alpha & Omega Naturals”. A&O was founded in 2020 after needing a solution to my daughter Omega and son Onyx’s dry and unruly hair issues and I wanted to use natural ingredients to try and mitigate the problems we were facing. Our Brand is focused on using organic herbs and other clean ingredients. Our products include our Hydrating Herbal Tea Mist, Revitalizing Hair Growth Oil, Thick & Rich Leave-in Conditioning Cream, Hydrating Herbal shampoo, and Hydrating Herbal Deep Conditioner.
Who is your target audience?
My target audience is people with hair issues who are looking to start a healthy hair journey or just want to use clean products that are paraben-free, sulfate-free, silicone-free, cruelty-free, pH-balanced, and vegan-friendly. Our products are great for all hair types from multi-ethnic groups ranging from Kinky, Coily, Curly, Wavy, Straight, Chemical Treated, & Heat Styled, and aside from moisturizing and hydrating the hair, our products are also formulated to increase elasticity and rebuild the hair fibres that have been damaged through normal wear and tear and chemical treatments which most people have experienced.
What are your plans for the brand?
We not only want to create personal care products but we also want to create clean household products and a plethora of merchandise. This brand is just getting started and the sky is truly the limit for us. I am so excited about it!
How do you feel about showcasing your design at London Accessory Week?
We are excited about being a part of the London Accessory Week. I feel like it’s a great opportunity to expand awareness about our brand and what we offer to people worldwide.
What relationship do you have with your clients?
We are currently a home-based lab where we create all of our products. We love connecting with our clients through social media and in person because it gives us a better sense of what they need and we like to make them feel comfortable with us and know that we care about their needs. We hear them and by hearing them it helps us create better products that suit more individuals. We have a chatbox on our website and clients can message us through direct messaging on any of our social sites or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to any questions they may have.
What has been the proudest moment for you so far?
So far, when a client had been experiencing hair loss prior to using my products and stated that they had been bald in certain areas for as long as they could remember, but after using our products those problem areas began to fill in and grow.
